1. Dialogue: "A room with a view"

Read the phone conversation between Liam and Chloe. Liam is in a hotel.

Chloe: Hi Liam! How's the hotel? Where were you this morning? I was at the cafe at 10 a.m.

Liam: Hi Chloe! Sorry, I was in a meeting. The hotel is great. My room is fantastic.

Chloe: Oh really? What's it like?

Liam: Well, there's a big, comfortable bed, and there's a desk under the window. There are some nice pictures on the wall, too.

Chloe: Is there a TV?

Liam: Yes, there is. It's on the table. And there's a small bathroom with a great shower.

Chloe: Sounds perfect. Were the people at the meeting friendly?

Liam: Yes, they were very nice. The meeting wasn't long. It was a good day.

Chloe: I'm glad. Talk to you later!
